Founded in October 2016, On The House exploded onto the sketch scene with a revelatory Sketchmageddon performance to an audience of 12 in the middle of a snowstorm. Much like the Colossus of Rhodes bestride the rivers of Ancient Greece, On The House has bridged the worlds of sketch comedy and improv comedy. High quality! Low effort! That’s the Skeleton Crew’s mission statement. The Skeleton Crew was formed as a team that could compete in Sketchmageddon with very little rehearsal or preparation time. The group creates scene outlines or “skeletons” which it then used to improvise around, which are then turned solidified and turned into finish scenes. This allows them to create 15 to 20 minutes of material in 3 to 4 hours. The group consists of Ed Carden, Matt Cole, Brian Garraty, Rafael Henriquez, Sandy Cardens, Erin Lindstrom, Kerry Kruk, Angel Sanchez, James Roach, plus Heather, and sometimes Adam Paine.
